TO FIGHT FOR by Gerardo Milsztein is an inspiring documentary on one of the greatest challenges of our time: the transformation of destructive power into creative energy, self-loathing into self-confidence, and repression of the past into hope for the future.

Directly and with no holds barred, the film tells the story of five young men aged between 16 and 20 who steal, smoke dope and enjoy getting into fights. They are directionless and willing to resort to violence. Now they face the biggest challenge of their young lives: Will they end up in jail, or tear down the old walls and take control, rebuilding trust and closeness after years of aggression and isolation?
The “year of decision“ is their final chance to break the vicious cycle and come to terms with reality.



A stirring cinema experience, that blows the mind and offers a radically different approach to the current debate about youth violence.
