THE INVISIBLE STRING tells the story of an unlikely love affair with 165 grams of plastic – the FRISBEE. This is a journey into the hearts and minds of the global family that the „flying disc“ created.
Synopsis

This film takes us on a trip from pie pin tossing at the „Frisbie’s Pie Bakery“ in Connecticut a Hundred years ago, to the Rose Bowl World Championships in the late 1970s and to today’s hot spots and international tournaments.

Rare archive footage leads us back to California, to beach parties, lazy days in the park and to a time of innocence, when the FRISBEE became a worldwide phenomenon and a lifestyle choice.

Learn the hottest tricks from the pro’s, the legends and the eccentrics – „Disc Golf“, „Freestyle“, „Ultimate“. Recapture the simple joy of throwing stuff, and discover the coda of FRISBEE freaks worldwide: „No matter what, keep playing!“
